Dinesh Trivedi on Resolving Issues Through Dialogue

India’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Dinesh Trivedi, expressed optimism about resolving issues through open communication. He emphasized that problems are best solved when both sides engage in dialogue.

Trivedi made these remarks on Sunday afternoon during the inauguration of a children’s playground at the Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC) in Jamuna Future Park, Dhaka, responding to journalists' questions.

Regarding his upcoming courtesy meeting with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman scheduled for Monday, Trivedi said, “We all hold great respect for Bangladesh’s prime minister. I have listened to his speeches multiple times. He is a leader who cares deeply for the people, just like our own prime minister.” He added that when the two leaders meet, many issues can be resolved.

“Problems get sorted out when we talk to each other. I firmly believe the people of both countries are united. There will be solutions. There is nothing negative here—only positive prospects,” he concluded.
