Tarique Rahman Applies for Travel Pass to Return Home

Tarique Rahman Applies for Travel Pass to Return Home BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has applied for a travel pass to return to Bangladesh on 25 December , sources have confirmed. The application was submitted to the Bangladesh High Commission in London , according to a source in the United Kingdom, who confirmed the matter to Prothom Alo on Thursday evening. NCP, AB Party, and Rashtra Sanskar Andolan Form New Political Alliance

Nahid Islam, convener of the National Citizens Party (NCP), has announced the formation of a new political coalition titled the “Democratic Reform Alliance,” comprising three parties: the NCP, the Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party), and the Rashtra Sanskar Andolan.

The alliance was introduced with a pledge to uphold the spirit of change sparked by the July mass uprising in Bangladesh and to prevent the nation from sliding back into the practices of traditional politics.

Nahid Islam made the announcement on Sunday afternoon at an urgent press conference held at the Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) auditorium in the capital’s Segun Bagicha.

AB Party chairman Mojibur Rahman Monju and Rashtra Sanskar Andolan president Hasnat Kaiyum were also present at the event.

According to Nahid Islam, the newly formed “Democratic Reform Alliance” is not just an electoral coalition but a political alliance dedicated to national dignity and economic emancipation. The alliance plans to contest the upcoming national parliamentary elections and will continue working toward the pursuit of economic freedom.
